We threw a party on Sunday - an advance celebration for our approaching anniversary.This photo was taken by A(my husband) ,that was how our kitchen looked like at 8 am on Sunday (party was scheduled at 12.30 pm). At that point, it seemed like everything is going out of control and the clock is on a mad dash as we have yet to prepare Gobi Manchurian from the scratch, finish off Chilli chicken, bake the garlic bread, jazz up the fried rice with all the goodies and the list goes on. @12’O clock, our first guest, Abhishek (who is also our next door neighbour) arrived and seeing us struggling with the last phase of the cooking, he took it upon himself to save us from the awkward situation and feigned some huge interest in bringing back the DVD we loaned to him and returned after whole 30 minutes (without any DVD of course), but sparing us just enough time to wind things up. It was a smooth sailing after that and the party was not a complete washout as we did fear before.
